We left Alaska at the end of December and spent the months of
January and February in Kentucky.
We experienced our first Kentucky ice storm.
Although the ice may have been beautiful, the damage was incredible.
Trees and power lines were down everywhere.
People were without electricity, heat and water for many days (some over a
week). I'll take an Upper Peninsula blizzard any day!!
