Saturday Outing in the Keweenaw

Today we hiked to Copper Falls Lake, a small lake that is near Central Mine and just a few feet off the Copper Falls Road.

Copper Falls Lake--a great place to canoe

After leaving Copper Falls Lake we drove down the Central Mine Road
and decided to check out Meadow Lake.
An old logging road made the journey very easy.

After we explored the area around Meadow Lake, we hopped into our vehicle
and drove to the other side of the Keweenaw Peninsula
to check out Bete Gris and Lac La Belle.

No bugs or people--PERFECT!!

That concludes another perfect day on Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula!
